7 – 9 November 2010 Marina Bay Sands, Singapore   Organized by the Society for Rock Mechanics & Engineering Geology (Singapore) and Nanyang Technological University on behalf of the Associated research Centre for the Underground Urban Space, the 13th World Conference of ACUUS 2012 will be held from 7th to 9th November 2012 at the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. The ACUUS conference series has allowed a very wide range of papers to be given on all aspects of underground space use - from earth sheltered housing and historical uses of the underground to the planning and design of large urban underground developments. Themed "Underground Space Development - Opportunities and Challenges", ACUUS 2012 Singapore will focus on the new opportunities amid a re-focus on developing the urban underground space as part of sustainable development, and the many challenges and issues that planners, developers, and engineers face. ACUUS 2012 Singapore is supported by the Singapore Ministry of National Development and the Singapore Convention and Exhibition Board. Watch this space for more information and registration details.
